Fresh Outdoor Brewed Coffee From Freshdrip

Now, I love coffee, and over the last few years, I would like to believe I have become a bit of a coffee connoisseur, or as much I will let myself become, always enjoying a good cup of proper strong flavoursome coffee wherever I can find one.

Luckily, as a coffee lover, we are spoilt for choice nowadays, with so many well-known high street coffee establishments accessible around and a growing number of local roasters that tend to support local businesses with their exciting new ventures as cafes and small restaurants.

When choosing to drink coffee, the overall quality of the coffee is always at the forefront of my mind. As a result, I never find myself drawn towards the name or brand, more the taste, strength and overall value for money. In my lifetime, coffee drinking has undoubtedly become increasingly more and more popular, with many different flavours and varieties from around the globe. This is a huge positive, as gone are the days when all we had was freeze-dried instant coffee and a splash of skimmed milk to contend with. Yes, it was warm, brown and wet, but it often resembled dishwater, uninspiring, and tasted terrible.

Bringing this so-called coffee into the outdoors would remain a lengthy process of preparing your drink early in the morning and before you set off for the day. It would involve putting the contents into a large old thermos flask and then hoping it would stay warm when you wanted to drink it later in the day. Most of the time, it didn’t stay hot, and you would often throw most of it away.

The Fresh Drip Story And Vision

Fresh Drip is a relatively new company that has grown out of its Netherlands base, and, in recent years, the company has begun to grow and flourish within the outdoor and adventure sector. They launched in various big outdoor chains across Europe, including A.S. Adventure in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, 8a in Poland and Cotswold Outdoor in the UK. Their presence in the outdoors sector has increased the popularity and convenience of the Freshdrip brand; thus, it is becoming an increasingly popular go-to coffee choice with a growing number of outdoor enthusiasts, campers and adventure seekers.

With regards to the hospitality sector, Freshdrip has signed agreements with a range of new hotels, including The Student Hotel Den Haag, Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South or The Rooster Antiparos. They are now either replacing their instant coffee sticks with Freshdrip or beginning to offer Freshdrip as an alternative to capsule-style machines.

It has become clear that Fresh Drip has a significant market gain in outdoors and adventures. Many hotels are beginning to realise that post-covid guests are now looking for more bespoke and memorable experiences. Good-tasting coffee is a massive part of this.

Varieties and Choice

Fresh Drip has mastered a great range of coffees available in full strength, medium strength and decaffeinated varieties, with the beans deriving from Columbia, Nicaragua and Ethiopia. As previously mentioned, they strongly influence the outdoor market due to the bags' style and ease of use. Therefore they are readily available in the stores or can be purchased online. The packages come with seven sachets, ideal for packing on outdoor walks, hikes and adventures, and camping for a few days away.

Easy Of Use

The Freshdrip bags are ideal for outdoor use and something that I tend to take with me on a hike or camping trip. They take up a limited amount of room in the backpack, bike packing or camping equipment, and when added to boiling water, the coffee tasted fresh, strong and as good as my portable coffee maker.

Once water is poured into the bag, it is essential to let the percolation process happen correctly, and with the side straps suspending the bag above the water, it naturally filters into the cup through gravity and the correct way, allowing minimal contact and, I believe, an excellently brewed cup of coffee. The process takes around 3 minutes, and it is ready to drink.

After you finish the bags, they can be removed and disposed of as they are simply packaged and entirely recyclable. Thus you can dispose of the packaging you came with and take further care of the environment.

Recommendation

I think the whole concept is outstanding, and I only wish Freshdrip all the best in its future endeavours, as the coffee brand begins to grow and gains more and more interest. As an outdoor coffee brand, I think it is excellent, and if you love spending time outdoors and want to reach for a fresh coffee while enjoying your time outdoors, I believe these coffee sachets are an excellent option for you to use.

Mainly for the carrying and ease of use, Freshdrip coffee has created a great product and one that is worthy of any outdoor enthusiast's time to discover and indulge in. I have been very impressed with what I have used, the quality, and the taste, so gone are the days of instant watery coffee, and this provides another great option to try something fresh, new and unique.
