Residential Visits

I believe that outdoor residential visits are an essential part of a child's education. They allow children to explore, learn and create in unfamiliar settings. It is also beneficial for both children and adults to step out of their comfort zone and discover new skills they never knew they had.

For over 15 years, I have planned and implemented various outdoor residential visits in the Peak District, UK and surrounding areas. My residential visits have a clear vision and are designed with inspiring content that caters to the specific needs of the children. I always emphasize the importance of learning from the surroundings, outdoor play and discovery, storytelling, art, and practical skills that can be used in the outdoors.

Experience

• 15 years experience of planning and carrying out outdoor residential experiences for children aged 6-11.

• All residential visits are implemented from my own ideas and continue to support learning in the outdoors and any school curriculum.

• I have many years of experience as an Educational Visits Coordinator and have been commended for my work when local authority advisers have observed me.

• I am First Aid trained.

• I'm a Qualified Mountain Leader.
